Expert Team and Specialized Equipment
AST’s field team includes seasoned Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, Equipment Operators, and Environmental Technicians with extensive experience in high-stakes environmental construction.
Large excavation equipment is sized for the specific scope of work and sourced local to the project. The large equipment may include excavators, dozers, compactors, and articulating dump trucks. Most smaller support equipment and PPE is company owned and mobilized to the worksite in a trailer by project personnel during the initial project mobilization.
Our direct control over equipment and personnel allows us to mobilize quickly and manage projects without delays from subcontractor or rental bottlenecks.

AST holds active contractor licenses in multiple states and carries comprehensive insurance, ensuring we’re ready for work on government-regulated and high-liability sites. Our standard insurance includes:
- General Liability – $5M per occurrence
- Pollution Liability – $5M per occurrence
- Professional Liability – $5M per occurrence
- Umbrella Coverage – $5M
Higher coverage limits are available on a site-specific basis, and policies can be tailored to client needs. AST is also a small business, making us a flexible and strategic partner for both public and private sector projects.
